Sinking Ship, Kiska, Alaska, 1946, KANO MARU I spent the weekend at an Antique and Collectable show in Vancouver, Washington. I was able to acquire a pile of photos taken in Alaska at the end of World War II. Here is one of them. This photo was taken on August, 7, 1946 at Kiska, Alaska, which is located at the western end of the Aleutian Islands. I'm not sure of the name of this cargo ship but see some of the comments below. .
